Operation Final Voyage

What can you do?

Are you in any way connected to the shipping industry? Are you a ship spotter, a harbour master, a crew member or in any other way connected to shipping? We need your help!

Greenpeace has selected 50 ships which might be scrapped soon. We have asked the owners of these ships to declare that their ships will be decontaminated before scrapping in Asian countries. Until that time Greenpeace will follow and monitor these (and other) ships.

We need YOUR help to spot these ships and identify other ships that are in danger of sailing towards the beaches of Asia without being decontaminated:
  • have you seen any ships on the Greenpeace list recently? What was their location? What is their destination?
  • do you have any information or pictures of these ships?
  • do you know of other ships making their final voyage?
  • do you know of owners renaming their ships before or just after selling the ship for scrap?
Please let us know by filling in and sending the mailform below. Your information will be treated confidentially. You can post information anonymously, however this will make any follow-up on your information more difficult.
